The heater receptacle will have power only when the control thermostat calls for heat and the flow switch (if equipped) is closed.

Removal

Disconnect power to the spa.
Access the equipment compartment.
Remove the control box.
Locate the heater receptacle.
Remove the Hot (black) wire from heater relay.
Remove the Neutral (white) wire from heater relay.
Disconnect the Ground (green) wire from the grounding lug inside the control box.
Remove the receptacle by forcing it outward through the control box.
To reinstall the heater receptacle, reverse steps 1 to 8.
